I was fortunate enough to spend a whole day riding the most legendary, but also the last, of the maxi twin-cylinder bikes from Borgo Panigale. I'm talking about the 1299S: the last true maxi twin-cylinder produced by Ducati before switching to the V4 architecture with a counter-rotating crankshaft. The bike is simply legendary. It has all the Ducati character, but tempered by a series of electronic aids that truly make it usable and enjoyable for any type of use: traffic, country roads, main roads... Unfortunately, I wasn't able to test it on the track, but... you never know, maybe in 2022 I'll be able to spend a day riding this monster. In the video, you won't find technical specifications, horsepower, or weight... just the magic that a vehicle like this can evoke in those like me who are truly passionate about the world of two wheels.
