Chopin Op. 53 Progress Video (Heroic Polonaise - Nov 6, 2025)

Finally got my piano tuned and the pedal fixed earlier this week! After recording some other pieces, I also whirled through Chopin's Heroic Polonaise. A little too fast for my brain to keep up with my fingers, but it's helpful to know where the weakest links are. I'm generally happy with this tempo and just need to get things a bit cleaner. This piece has been a bit on standby mode in terms of practice priorities, but I think the other pieces I'm working on are also helping with this one. This is probably the only video I'll post of me playing this piece with the music stand open (versus the piano lid fully closed) - I think my ears will be ringing for days afterwards...
