TG ASL ORISTANO: EDIZIONE DI MARZO 2026

Here we are at the thirty-third edition of TG ASL 5, the monthly news program of Oristano's Local Health Authority (ASL 5), edited by the press office. This program focuses on the projects, news, and activities of the Oristano health authority for the month of March 2026. The opening episode is dedicated to the local health and social care conference, attended by our director, Dr. Grazia Cattina, and her new government team, local provincial administrators, and Regional President Alessandra Todde. A comprehensive report on the conference includes incentives for general practitioners in disadvantaged areas, the regional emergency room situation, and ASL 5's projects for the coming months. This is followed by a comprehensive section dedicated to prevention topics. It begins with hearing, with a presentation of the "Safe Listening" diagnostic, therapeutic, and care program, followed by free checkups in the San Martino Nephrology Department on World Kidney Day, and our "Say It with a Cartoon" column on alcohol abuse. A beautiful expression of gratitude and respect from a patient's daughter toward the Ghilarza community hospital and the Oristano hospice. For the second consecutive year, we've supported the wonderful Work-School Training project, which involves 37 final-year biomedical students from the Mariano IV scientific high school in Oristano, currently undertaking internships in several hospital departments and healthcare facilities of the Local Health Authority (ASL 5). We took our cameras to the Cardiology department at San Martino Hospital. Our integration and solidarity page features reports on two events: "Roots for the Future" in Marceddi with patients from the Ales-Terralba mental health center, and "From Spilled Blood to Donated Blood" in the square in Terralba. For the first time, we've also launched a sports section on our newscast. We've covered the second soccer tournament for employees of Sardinian healthcare companies, organized by ARES Sardegna, which will be held on Saturday, June 6th at the Sa Rodia sports facilities in Oristano. Two colleagues from Ares introduced us to the tournament, followed by a briefing on the excitement and anticipation within our company, which is participating in this event for the first time for a charitable purpose.
