We managed to convince legendary music producer Arshad Mahmud to hum a few lines from the delightful "Suno Gup Shup", the title song from the show. Salima Hashmi speaks about the early days of PTV & the importance of children's programing. When given the choice by Aslam Azhar to develop any program for PTV, Shoaib Hashmi chose to produce "Akkar Bakkar" for kids, which promoted and/or honed many talents, including Farooq Qaiser, Arshad Mahmud, Nayyara Noor, Samina Ahmed, Irfan Khoosat and others.
