A Tale Of Two Propellers
In this video I further explore wind driven objects. I cut two types of propellers on the scroll saw. One is from an old book that uses a method to cut a propeller from a single piece of wood. I adapted that method to the scroll saw. It is very crude but could be done much better with a lot more care in laying out the steps and making the measurements more accurate. The second one is part of a Steve Good project. He has a pattern for a whirligig and this is the prop for that project. I will be using this one in a future video so did not glue it together so I could drill and or alter the hub as needed. Link to Steve's pattern below. https://www.stevedgood.com/whirligig.pdf
