"Wadawali Geete" is a Youtube channel made by few enthusiatic women who form the " संस्कृति भजनी मंडळ" "The Sanskruti Bhajani Mandal" from Rakhade ,Kelve led by Smt.Hemangi Hemakant Save. The idea behind this endeavour to archive old and rare Wadawali compositions sung during weddings and other celebratory occasions. Unfortunately these songs have not been passed on to the next generation and will be lost with the passage of time. Through this medium we strive to archive these so that the coming generations can benefit for the years to come. These are some age old traditions that need to be safeguarded and kept alive. We hope you enjoy listening to them and make use of this available information to educate the next-gen about the existence of this wonderful language and its musicality.
