Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS 2 for short) is a simulation computer game developed and published by SCS Software. The game involves transporting goods across Europe, starting with establishing your own transport company and choosing your first truck. Players can drive across Europe, instead of unlocking countries on the continent as was the case in the first installment. During the game, players can purchase new trucks, tune, repair, and paint their vehicles at repair stations in each city. During your journey, you'll encounter gas stations for refueling, and rest areas located along highways, at border crossings, and in motels for the driver to recharge. Toll booths have been added to the game, where drivers can pay for the section of highway they've driven, including in Poland and France. The game map is the largest SCS Software has created to date. The game was very well received, and the editor of PC Gamer magazine awarded the game the Simulator of the Year award.
