TEMPLE OF HORUS Full Tour, Archives of the 'First Time' at Edfu

The inscriptions at the Temple of Horus at Edfu in Southern Egypt tell the story of the 'First Time' of the Gods, called ZEP TEPI. I recently discussed with Dr. Manu Seyfzadeh his English translations of these important stories, based on the 36 years of still ongoing work by Dieter Kurth's Edfu Project, which has faithfully translated the vastly complex Ptolemaic glyphs into German. I hope I have not 'rambled on', and left this video too long, but it will give an immersive experience of the temple, and cover some aspects of it that have been most interesting to me, especially regarding the predynastic elements of the story, and the importance of Horus as a mythological archetype that has been reproduced by most every culture that has arisen since.
