Stuart Turner R3M

I aquired this classic engine because it came with a small yacht that I bought as a winter project. It is contemporary with the yacht, and has been identified as being manufactured in 1965. It has been rebuilt using new and secondhand parts obtained from Stuart Turner enthusiast David Schofield, of Purton, Swindon, Wilts, England, who was most helpful, and to whom I am very grateful. Many people restore these engines to show at country shows and steam rallies, etc, but this one is going back to work as it was intended. I suppose i'd better get on with the actual yacht now............!
