Composer Larry Cansler Epi. 4, host Dr. Mark Sublette

Larry Cansler is world renowned composer who enjoyed a long career in Hollywood studios. Larry is an Emmy award nominated composer, arranger, conductor, musical director, and pianist. He has worked with artists such as Michael Jackson, Michael Martin Murphey and Kenny Rogers and his symphony, “Mojave," was performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Among his musical credits is composing the music for his gold record hit classic “Wildfire”. Another life long passion of Larry's has been art. He started drawing at an early age. In the last few years Larry has turned this interest into a full time pursuit. He moved to southern Arizona in 2001 and started to study painting with artists to include Randall Sexton, Ray Roberts, Gabor Svagrik, and Colley Whisson. He loves painting Southwestern landscapes and cloudscapes as well as California and Hawaiian beach scenes. Enjoy Larry Cansler's Ed Mell composition at the end of this video.
