Why Morgana is a Terribly Written Character.

Morgana represents everything wrong with Persona 5. He is easily the worst character in Persona 5 and one of the worst JRPG characters overall. Many people like to laugh at how Morgana is simp material, how he keeps teasing Ryuji, how he always says "I'm not a cat", how human Morgana had a few minutes of screentime, or how he never lets Joker go to bed, but if one were to break down Morgana's character, they'd see that he there are a lot more issues with how he is written, and this would help some people understand why Morgana is a terribly written character. Morgana is the supposed "mascot" of Persona 5, which assumes that the character would be given the most amount of attention, or at the very least would receive as much care as the rest of the cast. Unfortunately, that is not the case as there is a lot of wasted potential with this character, especially around the notorious Okumura Palace. It feels like he only exists to market Persona 5 instead of helping the game be the masterpiece that the media randomly feels like wanting you to believe, and it's time that we find out why that is. In terms of handling Morgana Persona 5 could have improved him in Persona 5 Royal, but unfortunately, it didn't make things any better for him.
