OFFICIALLY A Resident: SEF Appointment Complete, D8 Digital Nomad Visa for Portugal

The last step in this long process is now complete! I've just returned from my SEF appointment with my temporary residency document in my hand! In this video, I walk you though the process, what I brought with me, what I actually needed and my experience overall. I'm so happy that this process, which I started back in October of 2022 has finally come to a positive culmination. I did the VFS application and the SEF appointment BY MYSELF -- I do not recommend hiring an agent or lawyer as they will take thousands of Euros for what you can easily do yourself. The biggest help and resource for me as the Facebook group, Americans and Friends in PT. Their checklist and forum provided great insight overall into every step of this process. Let's not feed into the predatory agent businesses that have cropped up. Good luck to everyone going through this process!
