At 7'2", Richard Kiel towered over Roger Moore as the indestructible JAWS. Appearing in "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977) and "Moonraker" (1979), he was the only henchman to survive 007 and appear in two James Bond adventures. According to director Lewis Gilbert , Jaws was so popular that they received fan mail from small children asking "Why can't Jaws be a goodie instead of a baddie?"
