The Crowning with Thorns: Soldiers place a crown of thorns on Jesus' head, mocking his kingship. This act symbolizes the ridicule and contempt he suffered. The Carrying of the Cross: Jesus carries his cross to the place of crucifixion. In this mystery, we meditate on his physical pain and the weight of the sin he bears, as well as the suffering of his mother, Mary. The Crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ: This mystery culminates in the crucifixion, where Jesus dies on the cross. It is the most painful moment, reflecting the supreme sacrifice for the salvation of humanity. These mysteries invite us to reflect on the suffering, redemption, and unconditional love of Jesus.
