How To Get The Best Polish On Platinum Using Sandpaper
These are the steps I use to polish small flat surfaces on platinum. Unlike gold & silver you really have to put some extra effort into how you work platinum to really take away all the scratches and not deform the shape of the piece you’re working on. These set of papers really do a good job and you can get away with using 3-4 types of sandpaper before using polishing compounds.
