Comment faire la Polenta Italienne

Here's an ancient and simple dish from northern Italy, more precisely from Lombardy: polenta! Presented here in its simplest recipe, it can be flavored to taste with chicken or vegetable broth, spices, eaten hot or cold, mashed, or fried. Simply delicious and deliciously simple, it will go perfectly with meats in sauce and appetizers. Ingredients: 200g pre-cooked polenta 1L water 10g salt Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. When boiling, pour in the salt and polenta, stirring with a whisk. The polenta will thicken. Continue stirring for 10 minutes. Place the hot polenta in a cake pan and let it cool to room temperature. Once lukewarm, refrigerate for an hour. An hour later, remove it from the pan and slice it. Heat a pan with a little olive oil. Brown the polenta slices on both sides. Once golden brown, serve.
