Paul Walker is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Brian O'Connor in the Fast and the Furious film series. On November 30, 2013, at exactly 3:30 PM, Walker and his friend Roger Rodas attended a Reach Out Worldwide fundraiser to support the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, which had struck the Philippines at the time. That day, Paul had promised his mother he would come with his daughter, Meadow, to decorate the Christmas tree. He was supposed to leave after the event, but he said he wanted to go for a lap with Roger Rodas in a Porsche Carrera GT. The car was reportedly traveling at over 160 km/h (100 mph). According to eyewitnesses, the driver lost control. The Porsche spun violently at high speed, struck a curb, then a tree, and immediately burst into flames. According to experts, the actor died instantly—as stated in the report, "from the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries" (blows and burns).
