Winch not working? Here's how to test the solenoid #1471

Electric winches are awesome aren't they! Well, not when they don't work! It's that heart sinking 'clicking' sound but no movement of the motor....well, this could be for a number of reasons but the solenoid pack is often the cause of the problem. In this video I use a common WARN solenoid pack which has a fault. Included in the video is the wiring diagram, testing & disassembly of the complete component to show the internals & more importantly why it failed.
