PM Justin Trudeau participates in panel discussion with Artemis II astronauts – April 25, 2023
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau takes part in an industry panel discussion at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa with Artemis II crew members Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Hammock Koch, and Jeremy Hansen. Also participating are moderators Lisa Campbell (president of the Canadian Space Agency) and Bill Nelson (NASA administrator), as well as François-Philippe Champagne (federal minister of innovation, science and industry). Currently slated for launch in November 2024, Artemis II will be the first crewed mission to fly around the moon in half a century. Hansen will become the first Canadian astronaut to venture into deep space.
