IS DRINKING A SIN? Je unywaji pombe ni dhambi?

Why should we abstain from drinking alcohol, even though the Bible doesn't explicitly say 'Drinking is a sin'? 1. You make yourself prone to drunkenness, which is a sin. (Proverbs 23:29) 2. You subject yourself to be put under the power of something else; under the power of addiction. (1 Corinthians 6:12, 2 Peter 2:19) 3. You can cause your brother or sister to stumble. (1 Corinthians 8:9-13) But most importantly, IT IS NOT FOR THE GREATER GLORY OF GOD. (1 Corinthians 10:31) Some things are not in the Bible because they didn't exist. But if we start to argue on every little thing, we are really missing the mark. When your heart is not inclined to God and godliness, you start to argue and push your agenda, toeing the line even on petty issues.
