La Pastoral Penitenciaria, en Haciendo Iglesia

Concern for prison ministry has been a constant throughout the history of our program. As the COVID-19 pandemic was drawing to a close, our team was invited to visit the Murcia I Penitentiary Center, which was then celebrating its 42nd anniversary, to hear firsthand the testimonies of its staff and some of the inmates. The stories they shared reminded us of the importance of lost innocence and a desperate plea for forgiveness and mercy. These personal reflections encouraged us all to open our hearts and support their reintegration into society.
