Heike Spreter-Krick is a sepsis survivor herself and founder of the Sepsis Heroes Club (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) — the first web-based community for life after sepsis. She calls it a "self-help group 2.0": available around the clock, not a fixed meeting place, but a space where experiences are shared and transformed into practical solutions. The club works with six areas of life, offers monthly live events, and its centerpiece — the Post-Sepsis Guide (Excel), in which survivors themselves document long-term effects and proven solutions. Access is protected by registration, but intentionally not anonymous; only a visible, strong community can bring about change.
