Sao Miguel, Azores: a local celebration in Vila Franca do Campo, 2022

Hello, friends, back in summer 2022, I had a chance to attend many local celebrations on Sao Miguel. After a two-year break (because of the pandemic), in summer 2022, most of the celebrations were held, so I had a chance to experience the local culture even more. It is definitely an EXPERIENCE. It is beautiful, that some traditions are very old, but people still enjoy the celebrations. Also, it is unbelievably cool, how azorean nature inspires celebrations. This particular event was held in Vila Franca do Campo; but the firework at the very end of the video, is from Ponta Garça (same celebration like in Vila Franca, but in Ponta Garça they held it a few weeks before in Vila Franca do Campo).
