Join me on my cycling trip across Holland. I set off from Mülheim an der Ruhr on August 8, 2023, heading for Bergen op Zoom. I arrived there on August 10, 2023, and then started my wonderful cycling trip on the Waterlinie Route the next day. The fourth day on the Waterlinie Route was simply amazing. Looking back, I have to say that this was by far the most beautiful day since I started cycling. There was something to see everywhere, and the scenery was simply stunning. Unfortunately, the day ended with campsite chaos again. Numerous elements of the water defense lines are still clearly visible in the landscape today. You'll see inundation canals, batteries, and line dikes, for example.
