Waves - Ruby Lyrical Large Group - Legacy April 2023

And finally, perhaps my favorite group dance that the girls have ever done. This lyrical performance of "Waves" was one of the most beautiful things I've seen, where I noticed new layers of choreography literally every time I watched them perform. I think I lost count of the amount of times and ways waves are brought to life by these beautiful dancers. Truly stunning. The Ruby Lyrical team earned the highest adjudication at all four competitions, as well as placing 2nd, 3rd, and 5th overall (between all large group routines). They were also awarded the "Perfect Performance" judges award and a special award for choreography. I still think about this dance all. the. time. 🌊
