In an interview with Kun.uz, ​​he noted his kind attitude toward animals, adding that his family also treats them warmly. Commenting on videos circulating on social media, as well as animal rights activists' appeals to the Senate calling for increased penalties for animal cruelty, the mayor stated that he condemns any cruelty or inhumane treatment of animals.
