Meanwhile, authorities urged the crowd to express their opinions peacefully and not to resist officers. This message was conveyed by the Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, First Inspector Erlyn Sumantri. She reminded the crowd to express their aspirations in an orderly manner. She asked them not to engage in any unlawful activity. "Express your opinions peacefully, don't be anarchic, don't burn used tires, don't damage public facilities, and don't resist officers. Respect other members of the public who are carrying out their activities," said Erlyn Sumantri. A total of 5,955 joint personnel were deployed to secure the demonstration. Security personnel will be deployed at several points where the crowds are concentrated.
