Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston Train Journey | Avanti West Coast Class 390

(4K, 2024, Left-Hand Side) A train journey aboard an Avanti West Coast Class 390 Pendolino EMU Tilting Train from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston on the West Coast Main Line via Macclesfield and Stoke-on-Trent, on Sunday 24th March 2024. Shows every stop, as well as countryside views and interesting sights and locations in-between. The video is uncut between Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent, and also mostly uncut for the final stretch into London from Watford Junction. This was my first time on the West Coast Main Line, my first time on an Avanti West Coast Service, and also my first time on a tilting train - alot of firsts! The tilting on turns is really interesting to observe on camera, as you can see the viewpoint of the camera moving up and down. Maximum speeds reached on this train are 125 mph (200 km/h), for a total journey time of 2 hours 7 minutes. I really enjoyed the trip - it was a lovely, bright, and sunny Spring day, and the countryside has some very beautiful spots I thought, especially the canals along some of the route, dotted with boats.
