Adrian Peterson's 2012: The Comeback

On December 24, 2011, Adrian Peterson tore both his ACL and his LCL. Many predicted that the injury would mean the end of Minnesota Vikings running back's career. Instead, Peterson did the impossible. Not only did he return in week one of the following season (less than a year after his injury), but he dominated like no running back of his era. Returning from a torn ACL and LCL, Peterson led his team to the playoffs and had the second most rushing yards in a single season by an NFL running back (falling just nine shy of Eric Dickerson's record). It's even more amazing when you consider that the current NFL is more of a passing league than ever before and that his own offense had little to no passing game to speak of. Peterson's 2012 season will no doubt go down as one of the greatest of all time. Song: Clubbed to Death- Rob Dougan Clips are owned by the NFL. I own nothing.
