Finnish M40/55 Helmet

This video will be on one of the longest used Finnish helmet the m40/55 helmet. Thea m40/55 was a standardized pattern based off the German m40 and Hungarian m38 helmets fielded by the Finns during wwii. After wwii in the 50’s the Finns realized that they had to many variations of helmet in used and decided to standardize on 1955 for the sake of logistics. So this pattern of helmet was born. This particular helmet was a wartime produced m40 and indicated by the now showing chinstrap river holes, but has received the new 55 pattern one piece liner and chinstrap.
