In this tour I walk you through the full project from entry to waterfront. The oversized roof overhang draws you in from the driveway, and then the compression entry technique does its work — the space narrows before opening into the main living area, where the views straight through to Lake Rosseau hit you all at once. From there: an open-plan kitchen and living room built for entertaining, a four-season Muskoka room with large sliding doors and a shaded overhang that stretches the season well into fall, and a primary suite with a connected home office. We also incorporated a main-floor accessible secondary suite — something more and more clients are asking for as their families grow. The lower level gets a lot of attention in this one. We solved the natural light challenge with recessed light wells, so the bedrooms and rec room feel bright despite being below grade. There's a bar, a pool table area, multiple bedrooms with ensuites, walk-in closets, and a gym that's designed to convert — because what a family needs at the cottage changes over time. Outside, the deck wraps toward a fire pit area and a staircase that takes you straight down to the boathouse.
