Everything I did wrong in making new resin doll eyes

At first I wasn't sure I was going to share this project since it went so badly... but you know, I think sharing the things I do that DON'T work is probably more important than the things that do :) As much as I enjoy making tutorials, so much more of the creative side of the hobby is trial and error, finding what you can and can't do, learning how things work, and experimenting with techniques. I spent a lot of time trying to get these eyes made and in the end, nothing worked out. But I did learn a lot from the experience, picked up a few new techniques for modeling clay and such, and came away with some new ideas for things to do or try. Honestly, when you're creating, you'll spend more time having things go wrong than having things go right. The important part is learning to understand that these are not necessarily failures, but important steps in the process of becoming good at something. It could be that I never become good at making doll eyes.
