When you only hunt wild game, the difficulty and time required to develop a hunting dog's skills are enormous, so every experience it gains or every chance it experiences is of great importance for it to evolve and understand certain things. It's not an easy path, neither for the dogs, who will need excellent skills to make the most of the few opportunities they'll have, nor for us, who will have to invest many hours in the woods so that, from time to time, we can find an area with an animal. Even so, for those of us who enjoy this type of pure hunting and this type of training (without ever relying on farm hunting), watching a puppy go through stages step by step is one of the most rewarding things there is...
