DAIDAI is a Japanese music producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, best known as the guitarist and producer of the genre-bending band Paledusk. His futuristic and chaotic sound, a fusion of metalcore, EDM, nu-metal, and hyper-pop, has garnered attention as an innovative presence in the Japanese heavy music scene. His creative output has attracted attention both domestically and internationally. He participated as a producer on BRING ME THE HORIZON's new album, "POST HUMAN: NeX Gen," which reached number 1 on the iTunes Rock Album Chart and peaked at number 3 on the iTunes Overall Album Chart, generating significant buzz. He composed and arranged Lil Uzi Vert's "The End ft. BABYMETAL," and co-wrote and arranged three songs with ONE OK ROCK on their new album "DETOX": "Puppets Can't Control You," "C.U.R.I.O.S.I.T.Y. feat. Paledusk and CHICO CARLITO," and "+Matter." In July 2025, he arranged the music for "TENBLANK," a band starring and co-executive-produced by Takeru Satoh in the Netflix series "Glass Heart." In January 2026, he collaborated with ano on the opening theme "Picaresque Hero" for the anime "TRIGUN STARGAZE."
