The court has set stringent bail conditions, including for sureties who own property in Abuja. Civil groups are also protesting for the release of incarcerated protesters at the National Human Rights Commission. Meanwhile, the United Nations has raised alarm over a potential cholera outbreak in Maiduguri following severe floods. Sudanese authorities have also voiced concerns over an ongoing cholera outbreak.
