Bernadette Peters's version of Later from A Little Night Music by Stephen Sondheim from her concert Live From Royal Festival Hall London. I think this is such an interesting twist on a veeeeery difficult song, an acquired taste I think, but one I have definitely acquired. I really enjoy the eclectic abstract edge she's given the piece. Also, what a pro folks! Haha, if you notice, she a) Almost gets whacked with the cellist's bow, and b) Manages not to trip when her dress gets MANGLED in her shoe, and c) Manages to delicately get herself down to the floor to fix her shoe, all while singing this REALLY hard piece of music. Ha! Brilliant! You can tell at the end she was like "Oh, well GREAT. Now I'm on the floor. Uh... Well maybe if I do something real weird it'll look intentional." Insert butterfly wavey-arm movement
