Flap Pix - An Interactive Split-Flap Display at Changi Airport Terminal 2
If you have been to Changi Airport's Terminal 2 a few years ago, you'd probably remember the huge split-flat display boards showing flight information, changing every few minutes with its signature flapping sound. While that is sadly gone, the recently refurbished Departure Hall now features an art piece - Flap Pix, where split-flaps from the old board have been reused to make an interactive display. The display can showcase 6 scenes and even lets you take a portrait of yourself!
