Summer Fishing is Finally Here

With another hot summer day in the forecast, I decided to take a different approach. Instead of rushing to the lake before sunrise, I waited for the morning to warm up before picking up a frog and seeing if the topwater bite was ready. The plan worked better than I expected. Most of the best fish came on the frog before the lake filled up with pleasure boaters, and a few more came on a Chatterbait and Neko rig along the way. By late morning the heat was settling in, the boat traffic was getting heavy, and it felt like the perfect time to call it a day. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you on the next adventure.
