In other words, they use social media to circumvent taboos and government censorship by doing what the country has never done: teaching women about their own bodies. Reham Awadd, a gynecologist and founder of a restoration clinic for women who have undergone genital mutilation – a cultural problem in Egypt that affects almost 90% of women. Evelyn Koch, a Brazilian woman who went to Egypt for three months and decided to stay. Here she breaks stereotypes and also tells us what is and isn't allowed in the country.
