Ness of Brodgar: Saving the Best till Last | ARP 2025

This talk was presented by Nick Card FSAScot (UHI Archaeology Institute and Ness of Brodgar Trust) Talk info: This talk will look in more detail at Structure 27 at the Ness of Brodgar, which even in terms of this spectacular site, stands apart due to its unique appearance, spectacular masonry, and construction techniques which rivals the best architecture in Neolithic Britain. Speaker bio: Nick has directed and managed a wide range of projects for the Orkney Research Centre for Archaeology within the UHI Archaeology Institute.  He has been involved in extensive research and fieldwork relating to Orkney’s World Heritage Site, most notably as director of the Ness of Brodgar.
