Driving To The Brecon Beacons In The NEW Honda HR-V Hybrid

In this video, we literally drive our “Honda to the Rhondda” The new Honda HR-V was the first Hybrid we tried and due to the lack of engine noise, it took us a few minutes to realise the car was actually on! In our last South Wales road trip we went as far as the Bwlch at the top of the Ogmore Valley but for this trip, we continue down into the Rhondda Valley and Treorchy before heading over the Rhigos Mountain range to the Brecon Beacons National Park - Bannau Brycheiniog The Brecon Beacons National Park covers an area of 520 square miles on the border between Mid Wales and South Wales. It is also recognised as an International Dark Sky Reserve. The road through the beautifully rugged Brecon Beacons is a popular driving road for cars, motorbikes and cyclists, just watch out for those mountain sheep. On the way to the Brecon Beacons visitor centre, we pass Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales. It is very popular with walkers as you can see from all the parked cars.
