BCNM 40 Royal Jelly (BST duo)

Potentially helpful info below: We save all of our Potions, Ethers, etc. from treasure caskets and spend them all to duo BCNMs. First we did Wings of Fury (easy), then we did this one and failed. Reasons for failure: axe skill uncapped, Warrior's Axes (level 32), and a lack of understanding of just how dangerous the Queen can be. We had a Queen form with 4 Princesses remaining... pretty hard to take down at that point. We won on the second try after capping our axe skill and upgrading to Combat Caster's Axes. At the beginning the jellies got a head start because we thought they wouldn't move until we attacked, which would've given us a chance to Bind a couple, but they started moving as soon as we walked into the arena area. Right at the end I start spamming every med on me as the Queen starts wreaking havoc, and end up wasting a couple. Also, Ichigo forgets to make her tiger fight for the last couple jellies, which could've helped us kill an extra one. We subbed /RDM for Cures, Bind, and enspells which ended up being a mistake: jellies of the same element will absorb enspell damage. Bind from /RDM stuck a few times which was surprising and a tiny bit helpful, but /WHM might have worked just as well. This could probably also be done with two BST/NINs, or a combination of BST/NIN and BST/WHM or /RDM or BST/DNC, but remember that not using TP for weaponskills means less damage and potentially more jellies at the end. Another pet might be more helpful, though tiger seems to be the most damaging at this level. BSTs with Axe merits would also have an easier time. Of course, adding a third person of pretty much any job would make it really easy. The standard DD to bring to this one is DRG, but neither of us have DRG that high, so we did what we do in most low level duo situations: BST it. Oh yeah, and the drops we got were terrible. Nothing good. We're doing this mainly for Ni scrolls for ourselves.
