Presented By: Vincent Streva, PhD Speaker Biography: Dr. Streva is a board-certified clinical microbiologist and Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Microbiology. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana where he studied the genetic contribution of mobile elements to various human cancers. Following Fellowship training in Infectious Diseases at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital, he became the Chief of Diagnostic Immunology at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Public Health Laboratory and then served as associate laboratory director for a reference laboratory in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Streva is currently a Director of Infectious Disease Diagnostics at Northwell Health, which is the largest healthcare provider in New York State.
