Teresa Stich Randall, "Exsultate, jubilate (Allelujia)" Mozart
Stich Randall (1927-2007) made her debut in 1947, in V. Thomson's "Mother Of Us All," and was discovered and championed by Toscanini shortly thereafter. She went to Europe and was very successful there, especially in Italy and Austria. Her Met debut was in 1961, in Cosí, and she remained at the Met through 1966. She also appeared at the Chicago Lyric. She was a gifted Mozart singer, and this "Allelujia" is a superb example.
