Craftsman M230 Mower self propel repair. Just a BELT or WORSE?
In this video, I work on a Craftsman M230 lawn mower, troubleshooting a no-start issue before checking the self-propel system. After getting the engine running, I quickly discover that the self-propel function isn’t working. To find the cause, I remove the front axle cover, and after figuring out how to get it off, I find that the drive belt is worn out and needs to be replaced.
