When I first picked up Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, I had no idea this game would become one of my favorite games of all time. I started this journey swearing that I wouldn't shed tears for the French, then found myself completely invested in the world and characters. I was fortunate enough to go into the game blind and knowing nothing of the story. Now I am finished with my Clair Obscur playthrough, I know how this story ends, and it's time to share it all with you! These are the gently edited VoDs of my FIRST PLAYTHROUGH on EXPERT DIFFICULTY from ᴛᴡɪᴛᴄʜ livestreams. Never in my life have a played a game with this playstyle, so it was a rough start learning these mechanics. If you had told me I'd grow to adore these JRPG reminiscient turn styles with time-based mechanics requiring the precision of a Soulsborne game, I'd have laughed. Would you believe me if I told you I was one-shotting enemies by the end of this after watching the struggle this episode?
