David Solomon joined CNBC to share his views on the firm's second-quarter earnings and the economic environment. He discussed the rise in M&A activity, and the factors that could cause dealmaking to increase through the rest of the year. He also highlighted opportunities for Europe. From an operating perspective, he said that Goldman Sachs and other firms could use AI to become faster and more productive.
