BREAKING NEWS | BHUBANESWAR: The Kharvela Nagar Police have arrested the driver of the Mercedes involved in the horrific hit-and-run accident at Shastri Nagar Square in Bhubaneswar. The accused, identified as Soumya Ranjan Rath, is a law student at a private institution. According to police reports, Soumya was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was returning from a party with his female friend when his speeding luxury Mercedes-Benz knocked down a pedestrian, identified as Debi Ranjan Routray, at Shastri Nagar Chhak. Tragically, Debi Ranjan Routray died on the spot.
