Alex G - Brick (Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY 8/23/23)

[Reupload] Alex G & Alvvays dual headlined two nights at the Bandshell in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. I was only able to make it to the second night and didn't realize they were taking turns between who would be the first and second act of the night. Here, Alex G was the second act and got to play a few more songs than the previous night. It actually was my very first time seeing and hearing their music and I was pretty enthralled. Compared to Alvvays, who seemed to have their performance completely locked down, Alex G's set seemed relaxed and free form and fun. Or maybe it was just me not being familiar with the music.
