40e Congrès : Bastien Bonnargent « La fracture qui traverse le pays est une fracture de classe »

At the 40th Congress of the French Communist Party (PCF), Bastien Bonnargent, national secretary of the Young Communist Movement of France, reiterated a fundamental truth: young people are not a homogenous bloc, nor simply a voting bloc. The divide running through the country is first and foremost a class divide. Precarious employment, apprenticeships, the Parcoursup university admissions platform, lack of resources in vocational high schools, student life: faced with this organized downward mobility, young communists offer a different perspective. One million jobs to lift young people out of precarious situations, rebuild industry, strengthen public services, and foster solidarity between generations. Faced with the far right, which is diverting social anger toward hatred, there is one response: organize, fight, and develop class consciousness. 🚩 40th Congress of the French Communist Party 📍 Lille, July 3–5, 2026
